Filter Water
Our systems will filter water 24 hrs a day and will deliver pure safe drinking water for all the family.
Why Buy An RO Filter
System ?
Our system will filter water in a 4 stage process and can produce up
to 40% more water per day than traditional reverse osmosis systems.
Having a system that will efficiently filter water means that the
whole family benefit. Use filtered water to prepare foods and
salads. Bring out the true flavour of teas and coffees with pure
filtered water. Coffee has a richer flavour and at the same time uses 20% less coffee grounds. Teas taste better and are lighter
in colour. Use pure filtered water to wash away unwanted residue
from produce bought at the supermarket. Make healthy fruit juices
for the kids using pure filtered water. Pure filtered water will
bring out the natural flavour of vegetables. Plus no more lime scale
in your kettle or coffee maker.
The RO Filter Operation
The RO system will filter water and deliver high rejection rates.
The system works to filter water through a series of membranes each
designed for a specific task. Contaminants and impurities will be
automatically diverted out from the system via a drain outlet, this
means the system will continue to filter water while leaving the
membrane cartridges constantly clean so that only the minimum of maintenance is
required. Maintenance of the RO system is only every 6 months when
the cartridges need to be changed. A simple exchangeable
cartridge system means it only takes only a couple of minutes to
change cartridges. The system will continue to filter water without
having to change the cartridges periodically (bi-annually) however
for optimum performance of the appliance and to comply with
manufacturer guide lines it is strongly recommended to change the
cartridges twice yearly.
Choice And Flexibility
There are 3 types of filter systems to choose from
A standard unit, a permeate pump unit and a unit with built in
booster pump. This range offers customers a choice of system to
filter water coming into their household based mainly on budget. The
optimum unit comes with a built in booster pump and ensures fast
efficient filling of the storage tank.
How Does The RO System Filter Water
The RO system will filter water through three pre-filter
cartridges which range in pore size. These cartridges filter out the
larger particles from 5 micron down to 1 micron in size. see
FAQ on micron?
A fourth filter membrane has a series of unique spiral bound
membranes and will filter water down to a pore size of 0.0001 micron.
Even the smallest bacteria size - between .02 and .04 micron in
diameter will be rejected. Pure water squeezed through the fourth
filter membrane then passes to a storage tank under pressure before
finally passing through a fifth filter. This final cartridge called
a post carbon membrane will filter water passing through to ensure a
smooth and great taste.
