Reverse osmosis water filtration is the most effective and efficient method of filtering water. The process was initially used by bottling plants that required ultra pure water in their manufacturing process - now this reverse osmosis technology is available in a domestic scale appliance.
What's on the market?
Reverse osmosis is the most cost effective way to produce clean, safe and pure water in the home. Reverse osmosis is far superior in reliability, function and efficiency than any other filtration system on the market today. Traditional filters such as carbon block filters, distillers and uv's have been replaced almost completely by reverse osmosis as a means of producing safe drinking water. Uv's - although these appliances kill bacteria ( by using uv light ) they do not filter out any contaminants and impurities that lurk in water supplies.
Traditional jug filters apart from frequent filter changes to keep some efficiency have low rejection rates and are will not take out all microscopic contaminants or chemicals from the water. The water light reverse osmosis system filters out contaminants and on a microscopic level, including bacteria, chemicals, heavy metals, lime, chlorine, lead, flurine.
Why Buy A Water Light Reverse Osmosis System?
The Corial reverse osmosis system has a proven track record for reliability and performance. This is the most important factor in choosing the Corial reverse osmosis filter. The reverse osmosis system offers high rejection rates and requires minimum maintenance. The reverse osmosis filter membrane is also tested and certified to NSF standards.
Reverse Osmosis Range
The Corial reverse
osmosis filter system delivers crystal clear filtered water and can
produce up to 260 litres a day. Using advanced
reverse osmosis filtration technology the
Corial
reverse osmosis unit generates a high
rejection rate of impurities and also gives reliability and constant
water pressure with the built in booster pump.
The Corial reverse osmosis system has been designed to give you
a barrier against any impurities that may enter your water supply
including even the smallest contaminants and on a microscopic level
giving you peace of mind 24 hrs a day.
How Does The Corial Reverse Osmosis
System Work?
The reverse osmosis system will filter water at the start through
2 pre-filter
cartridges which range in pore size. These cartridges filter out the
larger particles from 5 micron down to 1 micron in size. see
FAQ on micron?
A fourth filter the reverse osmosis membrane has a series of unique spiral bound
membranes and will filter water down to a pore size of 0.0001
micron. Even the smallest bacteria size is between .02 and .04
micron in diameter will be rejected. Pure water squeezed through the
reverse osmosis filter membrane then passes to a storage tank under
pressure before finally passing through a fourth filter. This final cartridge called
a post carbon membrane will filter water passing through to ensure a
smooth and great taste.
